We partnered with BillTrack50 to create a seamless experience on all devices whether desktop or mobile.
BillTrack50 is a legislative tracking and management platform designed to help individuals, organizations, and lobbying groups keep tabs on legislative activity at both the state and federal levels in the United States. It provides tools to monitor bills, track their progress, and receive notifications about any updates or changes.
As their customer base grew, the branding of their former website no longer aligned with the robustness of their SaaS platform. The level of customization available for WordPress search functionality was limited. Their website was primarily designed for desktop use and lacked user-friendliness on mobile devices.
Most of Algolia’s search queries take from 1 to 20 milliseconds to process. That’s up to 200 times faster than other search engines.
BillTrack50 approached us for help with their website as they needed a more robust search engine. As their business grew the increased amount of traffic and searches being performed was slowing down performance and they needed more search customization. The branding of their previous site no longer accurately reflected the robustness of their SaaS platform and was developed for desk-top use. Therefore, it had limited abilities on mobile devices.
We teamed with BillTrack50 by developing a new website that has the search, Saas dashboard needs and works well on mobile as well as desktop devices.
We designed and developed this website so that large amounts of legislative data can be loaded and searched resulting in their clients being able to easily navigate the website and create scorecards that match the agenda of any organization.
We used the powerful search capabilities of Algolia Search making the user experience customizable for finding legislative bills of interest. This is paramount to the success of the legislative scorecard. By leveraging Gatsby, we managed to upload substantial volumes of legislative data without compromising on load times.
Our redesign enhanced the user experience across multiple fronts: BillTrack50's public-facing website, their SaaS dashboard, and their search function, making them all more user-friendly.
