Maven Outdoor Equipment Company is based in Lander, WY and makes high-end binoculars and spotting scopes. They sell some of the best optics in the world with no middle man and no retail markup.
We have teamed with Maven to make the user experience on their site a truly customized experience where the customer can build the optics that they want and order direct.

Shopify’s 100 variant limit: We redesigned and rebuilt their customizable binocular and spotting scope app to be more flexible and allow more than 100 variants per base model. This allowed Maven to add on Spotting Scopes as a custom offering and an accessories attachment module, both of which has resulted in increased revenue.
Mobile Visitors User Experience: Now, users can design their own binoculars and spotting scopes on any desktop or mobile device.
We elevated their brand by making the app a separate site and their customers regularly comment on how it feels like a truly customized experience that way.
Manual Order Submission: We saved them hours each week in sending orders to vendors and reduced the number of costly mistakes by adding in a pdf export feature that contains a picture of what the final customized product should look like.
Separate Analytics Data:We restructured their Google Analytics setup to allow them to view a customer at any conversion point across 3 servers. Their data is now more accurate and easier to find, which has enabled them to make better business and marketing decisions.
